Friendly Festival, the concept
I want to remind everyone, especially the new parents, that HH Football Academy’s focus is on the development of children through football and sports. Our goal is not to produce professional players, and displaying trophies is not a priority for us.
We use football as a tool to help children become better versions of themselves on their journey to adulthood. Our aim is to improve their health, fitness, coordination, socialization, ability to face challenges, and self-confidence. While we believe that healthy competition is important to motivate players and generate unique emotions, the match results are not a priority for us.
We rarely publicize our victories, and as the head coach, I do not pay attention to who scored or made an assist. Instead, I look for the right attitude, determination, and progress, which may take months or even years to develop.
We’ll be organizing a friendly festival for all the players to participate in. Our U12 A team will compete against the U13 team, as I don’t want our best players to have an easy game. Additionally, the best players of the academy will also play in categories with older age groups.
While we may expect our A team to win their matches, we never know what the beginner teams will face. Regardless of the result and performance, I urge you to always encourage your children, regardless of their age. A child, even at the age of 16, needs the support and trust of their parents in order to develop self-trust and confidence.
As coaches, we put them under pressure, as that is part of our role. As parents, your role is to applaud, congratulate, and reward them for their efforts.
