On the 13th of May 2023, HH Football Academy organizes a football tournament for youth girls. We expect to receive academies and schools from Hua Hin, Bangkok, Pattaya, etc., and welcome all these youth girls who have a passion for football at True Arena FIFA standard pitch.

HH Football Academy is born a few months ago, ex “PSG Academy” was closing and a French coach was dedicated to building up a new environment for young players of Hua Hin – insisting on using the French football Method, the importance of physical condition to play football and the fact that the academy will provide the same attention to boys and girls.

We started with a squad of 6 girls, most of them never played football before, and we have now a solid squad of 14 girls. They became friends, they train 3 to 4 times per week, and some of them have better physical condition than boys of the same age – in the same academy – who simply cannot follow them.

They train hard, and they loved so much the first matches of their life, vs Lion FC and HHIS a few weeks ago, and that’s why we organize this mini-tournament, expecting to do it more often since True Arena provides fantastic conditions to play football, with super high-quality grass pitches.

U14+ category

In a city like Hua Hin, the demography is not favorable to teenagers, especially when 1 or 2 parents come from another country than Thailand.

There are a few international schools, but no real social places for teenagers to meet in another context than school.

HH Football Academy tries to provide this atmosphere where players can become healthier, and stronger physically and mentally, with a group of friends who can learn and play this fantastic game together: football.

Our girls’ squad is mostly composed of U13, with 2 youngers, and 2 more girls 15/16 years old. It is impossible for us to organize this tournament and exclude these 2 girls – cause they might never have other chances to play since there is no team for their age group.

So we have designed this tournament as U14+, with the possibility for every team to have 2 or 3 players older in each team (U15 to U17).

I wish this flexibility won’t afraid the other coaches 🙂 We have a team of beginners, and Lions FC‘s coaches can testimony about it 🙂

We just want to have fun and avoid any “exclusion”. It will never be a problem on the other side, and we stay open to any suggestions.

Schedules

We have booked pitches for Saturday 13TH of May, morning (9 to 1 pm).
We have a full FIFA Pitch, which means 2 matches can happen at the same time if we have a lot of teams.

For 2 weeks already, the weather is extremely hot and even the grass is not hot, the sun and conditions are not fun anymore after 11 am.

We want to design group matches in the morning and brackets or the finals in the afternoon.

The final schedule will depend on how many teams join our tournament.

The free time can be used to have lunch somewhere all together – or simply get free time with families at the beach or whenever you like.

The price to participate will also depend on the number of teams, this is a non-lucrative tournament, and we simply want to share the cost of the pitch, trophies, and referees, we also expect to get a sponsor to support these girls, their enthusiasm, and their effort are for me a fantastic message for a society who can always provide a better place to women, from the youngest age.
