Important update made on 14th of January 2024
As you may have noticed, January 2025 has been quite challenging for all of us, requiring constant adaptation and last-minute rescheduling. This has been difficult not only for the HHFA team but also for our youngest players and their families.
No Football Pitch from Tuesday, January 14, to Thursday, January 22, 2025.
HHFA has a yearly contract in place to minimize last-minute changes and ensure that our schedule is respected. Unfortunately, I received information just 48 hours ago indicating that there will be no availability for the football pitch used by HH Football Academy from Tuesday, January 14, to Thursday, January 22, 2025.
Due to this short notice, we have managed to secure a very small pitch for a limited number of players. We have prioritized the girls’ group, who are participating in an international football tournament on January 25, as well as the U13 competition group, which is starting their league in two weeks.
I have created a new schedule, and please note that the football pitch location is very close to the original pitch; it is called GrandMom Stadium.

Impact on the Academy
As many of you know, I have been running this academy for three years, striving to provide the best educational and development programs for every child, regardless of their level. The changes made earlier this month have financially impacted the academy, with many families unable to participate and some leaving for other teams. Closing for eight days now jeopardizes the sustainability of HHFA. While the academy is positioned to endure, it is a family-run business, not focused on profit maximization. Unforeseen events like this are difficult to manage.
I accept full responsibility and would like to offer a prorated refund
As the Founder and Manager, it is my responsibility to offer refunds for the training sessions that you have paid for but will miss. You have paid for one month, which typically includes around 12-13 sessions. Depending on your group, you may miss 2 to 4 sessions, and I take full responsibility for the refund process.
To be transparent, Arena Sports Club understands the impact of their decision and has offered a partial compensation package, though it is not sufficient to cover the actual costs of the refunds.
We will issue partial refunds, calculated on a prorated basis, to families who wish to receive them. You will need to complete a form to let us know your decision and provide your bank information for the refund.
I want to express my deep regret for the children who are passionate about football. It pains me to see them affected, and I will miss the hundreds of daily smiles that I cherish.
Let’s take a moment to remember that we’re only dealing with a few missed training sessions. Soon, I’ll be announcing some exciting new opportunities for the children of Hua Hin.
And please, your refund is due, ask for it !
